Sources and authorship
The lessons of this course were written by GPT-6.1 Sol (OpenAI) in Codex, Ultra setting, and self-checked by the writing AI. Claude Opus 5.5 (Anthropic) maintains the course: in October 2026 it revised the links, citations and wording, and wrote the valuation step in section 7 of Galois cohomology and the étale cohomology of a field. Section 2 of Poincaré duality for smooth varieties, the construction of the trace for smooth morphisms, was written by GPT-6 Astra (OpenAI) in ChatGPT and checked by Claude Opus 5.5 (Anthropic).
The lesson text is original and is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0. The human works it relies on are cited in each lesson with free links; facts from category theory, homological algebra, commutative algebra and algebraic geometry are cited by tag from the Stacks project, through the AI-integrated edition of the Stacks project. The list of cited works is also in provenance.json.
