# Licence and component-rights notice

## Course text and Indonesian derivative

Holger Brenner states that he authored *Algebraische Kurven*, including its
course subpages and included pages, and licensed that material under the
**Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-SA
4.0)**. Units 1-23 of this edition follow the frozen official *Algebraische
Kurven (Osnabrück 2025-2026)* course. Because that course currently ends at
Unit 23, Units 24–30 follow the separately frozen official *Algebraische Kurven
(Osnabrück 2012)* semantic course source. The two source editions are not
merged or mislabelled.

The Indonesian translation, re-typesetting, editorial front matter, and
backend records that reproduce or adapt that text are distributed under the
same CC BY-SA 4.0 licence. Required attribution is to Holger Brenner for the
source work. The change notice is: **Indonesian translation and re-typesetting,
2026**. Reuse must preserve attribution, indicate changes, link the licence,
and satisfy ShareAlike.

The official 2012 lecture and worksheet PDF witnesses for Units 24–30 preserve
a CC BY-SA 4.0 print/course route (the CC BY-SA 4.0 course route) and also a
recorded CC BY-SA 2.0 Germany file notice.
Those PDFs are authority witnesses, not reader-media positions. The
component notice is preserved as evidence; we make no blanket relicensing claim
for those witnesses or for the mixed-rights release payload.

This is an independent edition. It is not an official publication of, and does
not imply endorsement by, Holger Brenner, the University of Osnabrück,
Wikiversity, Wikimedia Foundation, or any other upstream party.

## Third-party media

No blanket repository licence overrides media-component rights. Every included
Wikimedia Commons asset retains its own creator, source, licence, attribution
requirements, and any PDF-only companion relationship. The binding inventories
are [`authority/RIGHTS.csv`](authority/RIGHTS.csv) for Unit 1 and
`authority/RIGHTS-unit-02.csv` through `authority/RIGHTS-unit-30.csv` for Units
2–30. The terminal classical boundary specifically binds
[`authority/RIGHTS-unit-25.csv`](authority/RIGHTS-unit-25.csv),
[`authority/RIGHTS-unit-26.csv`](authority/RIGHTS-unit-26.csv), and
[`authority/RIGHTS-unit-27.csv`](authority/RIGHTS-unit-27.csv),
[`authority/RIGHTS-unit-28.csv`](authority/RIGHTS-unit-28.csv),
[`authority/RIGHTS-unit-29.csv`](authority/RIGHTS-unit-29.csv), and
[`authority/RIGHTS-unit-30.csv`](authority/RIGHTS-unit-30.csv). The reader also
contains a complete **Kredit media** section.

The licence on build code does not relicense the course text, translated text,
source witnesses, or third-party media processed by that code.
